Yeah, he is a great man. A true leader, an inspiration to all of us. I hope that we can all benefit from this, the world is watching. As far as our own leaders - I'll reserve comment for now, does one need to be born with some inherent qualities or can they be learned??
The Premier LISTENS to you and every other union representive in the province, he just DISAGREES with your viewpoints, so therefore he does not inact your views and opinions into law. Quite simple, really. Furthermore, a year ago today the people of Saskatchewan voted overwhelmingly to give the Premier a mandate that is very different from your own political agenda. And that, my dear man, is how democracy works.
On the contrary, the Premier does NOT listen to people he doesn't agree to us, not does his his "right" arm - the media in Saskatchewan. Get a grip on reality, we don't have democracy in Saskatchewan, we have a fascist dictatorship.
Brad Wall doesn't belong on the same planet as Barack Obama.
Au contraire Trent, au contraire. One cannot listen when one is not prepared to engage in a face to face dialogue.
The last time we (the current Premier and I) spoke was on December 12th, 2007 (it could have been the 13th). When, while at separate events in the same hotel, I approached him, extended my hand to shake hands with him and to offer my congratulations.
I said, "Mr. Wall, I want to congratulate you on becoming Premier of the Province and I look forward to working with you and your government over the coming years."
The Premier seemed (at that time) genuinely appreciative of my gesture and thanked me. Oddly, we've not had the opportunity to get together nor to discuss anything since.

They must be taking listening tips they picked up at that SFL meeting that Rob Norris attended. You all listened so well after all.
